Tuition & Fees

A number of factors contribute to making Valley Christian School such an exceptional value in education. Since 1974 -- Valley has been the recipient of the support, funds and prayers of Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church. Being a mission of the Church, a substantial amount of the cost associated with housing the school is absorbed by the congregation.

Valley is blessed with a staff of dedicated Christians who view their association with the school as a ministry rather than a job. This is reflected in the tenure of many of the teachers here at Valley. Our children benefit from the fruit of their ministry.

Finally, the family plays the most important role. The education of our children falls upon parents and teachers alike. Valley has a most impressive history of parent participation. Through the many hours of time logged by our volunteer parents, Valley is able to meet aggressive goals in keeping the tuition at the most affordable levels possible.

The “Details” link will reveal tuition information for the current school year.

Uniforms

Valley Christian School recognizes the benefits inherent in providing a learning environment free of peer pressure related to dress. Children are able to perform at an even level with their peers. School is presented as a no nonsense place where learning is the primary goal. Students' expectations of themselves increase -- resulting in a positive effect on their achievement. Through Valley's dress code we hope to place our children in a position to succeed.

Lunch and Snacks

We at Valley Christian School believe that you are the best judge of your child’s dietary needs. We ask that you provide a healthy lunch each day and snacks for the one break your child will have throughout their day.

As a break for parents and a treat for the children, Valley offers a hot lunch three days per week.

Lunch is available on an individual basis for $3.50 per meal or through the purchase of a 10-meal card for $42.00.

Scholarships

Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)

Tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to Valley Christian School Scholarship Program.

Textbooks and Supplies

State Law (Act 195) authorizes the loan of textbooks by the Secretary of Education to children enrolled in nonpublic schools. Act 90 authorizes the loan of instructional materials.

Our school requests the textbooks and materials to be loaned. This law, however, requires that a parent of each child attending the nonpublic school individually request a loan of materials. Therefore, each parent must sign a consent form to be kept on file in the school office.
