The vision of Valley Christian School follows Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

 

Our students must experience growth cognitively, physically, spiritually, and socially if they are to be healthy and whole human beings. VCS provides opportunities in all of these areas by the various components of its program. We believe an excellent education is a balanced education with God’s word as the guiding Truth in each of these areas. Therefore, each subject incorporates biblical truth.

 

Our academics are developmentally and grade appropriate. We strive to individualize the curriculum while completing concepts that align with national and state standards. We desire for our students to be equipped for the rigors of high school and to place in honors or advanced placement classes.

 

Terra Nova standardized test scores for the core areas of the 2016-2017 school year for VCS students in grades three to eight are available upon request. You will also find additional components of our program that complement the academic curriculum areas outlined here.

Our curriculum has been selected not only based on its accuracy and acadmic strength, but also on its ability to be presented in ways that reach the hearts and minds of our students.
