Ministry Opportunities

2019 Day of Service

(no day of service was held in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID mitigation protocols)

VCS students spent a day volunteering. It is a highlight of the year as students serve others.

Several classes helped Haycock Camping Ministries get ready for Winter by scrubbing mattresses, delivering clean mattresses to cabins, cleaning paintball gear, picking up trash and preparing baked goods for upcoming ministry events.

Our middle school students worked together to serve Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church and VCS by doing various projects to clean and improve the building.

Note:  The 2020-21 day of service was not held due to COVID protocol.

Food Pantry Collections

Families contribute non-perishable food items for a local food pantry.  Students occasionally deliver the food and learn how the food pantry works and about the families it serves.
